Hopefully you participated in the Market Research project that the Students’ Guild recently carried out on campus with the help of Alterline. Over 1,300 of you provided us with an excellent mix of qualitative and quantitative information, so thank you to everyone who took part.
The purpose of the research was to get your input into the Guild’s Strategic Plan for the next three years. All the data has now been collated and the headline themes for our Strategic Plan have begun to emerge. As so many of you got involved in the research stage, we wanted to keep you informed of the results. Please click on the link below to have a look at what you told us you want and expect from your Guild.
The results fall broadly into three categories:
• Student perceptions of current Guild Services
• Thoughts on Democracy and the Elections
• What you think the Guild’s priorities should be going forward
There is also a section on Segmentation with student priorities broken down by Age, Year of Study and other factors.
We were really pleased that so many of you were interested in getting involved with this project, and we will keep you updated as the Strategic Plan takes shape.
If you have any questions about the research please email g.w.dowding@aston.ac.uk
