► Heroica
Heroica are an unrivaled rock force emerging from the seams of the Birmingham music scene, a powerful, intelligent drift from the mundane.
Founded in 2005, Heroica (formerly called 'the Clerks') are a four piece hard indie rock group from Birmingham. The three guitarists of the group all met whilst doing the same university course and began playing and writing songs together. Upon adverstising for a drummer they discovered Gary who perfectly complemented the trio.They have accomplished much as a band, gigging intensively as well as writing and recording their first LP 'Remember the Clerks' in 2007.
Collectively the band pulls influences from the likes of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and the Libertines as well as combining elements of the bands much loved classic rock artists. Heroica's goal is to produce great rock records of which the modern scene appears to be diluted from. They aim to produce a sound that encourages crowd interaction and constantly entertains. Heroica have the potential and drive to be at the top of the UK music scene so watch this space!
