►You will need to log onto MAP and order a Tier 1 Post Study Work visa letter. Via MAP you may opt to have your PSW letter posted to your address abroad. Do not send your exam results or the letter from the Board of Examiners.
► If you have graduated you must enclose the original copy of your degree certificate and do not order the PSW letter as the wording in this letter applies only before graduation. Instead choose the confirmation of award letter from MAP.
► If you are already abroad, contact us so we may arrange for these MAP generated letters to be posted to you.
► Your current passport with your student visa and any previous passports showing your student visas. If you have a UK Identity card you must include it.
► 3 months’ bank statements showing in excess of £2, 800 throughout the 3 month period and the statements must not be more than one month old on the date you apply for PSW.
► If the bank statement is not in English you will need a special translation - please ask us about this
► If your bank account is not in Sterling currency, you need to include the oanda valuation. Again please ask us about this.
► If you are (or have been within the last 12 months) wholly supported for your tuition fees and your living costs by a sponsorship award from a government or international sponsorship agency for the course you are relying on for PSW points, you will need their written permission to remain in the UK on a PSW visa.
If your application is refused you may apply for an administrative review. See paragraph 40 of the Policy Guidance document.
