At Aston Students' Guild we are here to provide you with information, advice and representation so that your student life at Aston is enjoyable and productive as possible. If things aren't going right and you need some practical help, the Guild's Advice & Representation Centre is the place to visit.
The Advice & Representation Centre at Aston Students' Guild provides Aston students with information, advice and representation.
The Advice & Representation Centre can be found on the first floor of the Students' Guild building and is open Monday to Thursday between 10 am and 5 pm and 10 am to 4 pm on Fridays.

The Advice & Representation Centre is steered by Rehana Yasin, the Vice-President (Education & Welfare), who is the full-time student officer elected by Aston's students. Rehana's email is guild.welfare@aston.ac.uk
There are four members of staff who provide advice & information on range of issues like student finance, **immigration, accommodation, academic etc.
* Jill Wilson, the Welfare Manager, advises and represents students.
Jill can provide advice on a wide variety of topics. She specialises in academic issues and in immigration advice including work permits Jill's email is a.j.wilson@aston.ac.uk
* John Knight and Gemma Ball, the Welfare Advisers, provide advice on all topics and are specialists in student financial issues. In addition John is our housing expert and Gemma specialises in immigration advice. John's email is j.knight@aston.ac.uk and Gemma's email is g.d.ball@aston.ac.uk

*Karen Howard, looks after the reception desk, makes appointments and generally keeps us all in order! Karen provides information and some basic advice. She also stocks lots of leaflets and forms you may need whilst you are at Aston. She's normally the person answering the phone but she can only take one call at once so sometimes you get her voicemail and need to leave a message. Karen's email is k.d.howard@aston.ac.uk
In addition to her other duties, Karen looks after the Aston Studentpad web site which advertises all the non campus accommodation for Aston's students.
