► Entry Clearance Correction Scheme
Tier 4 visas issued abroad
If your entry clearance (visa) was issued abroad for the wrong length of time, it may be possible to get it corrected free of charge.
Tier 4 of the Points Based System Policy Guidance states:
Type of course Length of course Length of visa
Degree or above 12 months or more Length of the course + 4 months
Degree or above 6 months or more Length of the course + 2 months
but less than12
months
Pre sessional Less than 6 months Length of the course + 1 month
If your visa ends too soon, please come to see Gemma Ball in the Students’ Guild’s Advice & Representation Centre and bring your passport, a photocopy of your passport main page and a photocopy of your visa, and 2 new photos.
